How much does DigitalSignage.com cost?

DigitalSignage.com costs $0 for the first 3 screens, forever, then from $3.00 per screen per month on the Plus+ plan. Enterprise is priced dynamically by a public calculator, and mediaSERVER, the on-premise option, is a one-time $895 plus per-player licenses. Using the $3 rate on screens beyond the first 3, a 10-screen network is about $21 a month, or $252 in the first year. Pricing page

What is the difference between the Free, Plus+ and Enterprise plans?

Free covers up to 3 screens with about 90 percent of the features and 1 GB of storage. Plus+ starts at $3.00 per screen per month and adds 3 GB of storage, business-class support, all scene and animation templates, the scheduler, and QR and touch components. Enterprise adds every advanced feature: proof of play, white-label branding, kiosk and touch, IoT, POS integration, SignDashboard multi-account management and 25 GB of storage, priced by the public calculator.

Do I have to pay for the SignPlayer app?

No. SignPlayer is a free download for Windows, Mac, Android, Chrome OS, Raspberry Pi and iPad, and it also runs in any modern web browser. You pay only for screens beyond the free 3, per screen per month, or for a mediaSERVER license if you host on-premise. The only other cost is the hardware you run the player on, which can be a device you already own, such as an old PC or a spare Android box.

Why is DigitalSignage.com cheaper than most signage software?

DigitalSignage.com does not publish a reason, but several facts about the business are consistent with a low price. MediaSignage Inc. is privately held with no outside investors, the software has been built in-house since 2006, customers bring their own player hardware rather than buying vendor devices, and free-tier support is self-service. The trade-offs are the ones the company states: do-it-yourself setup, a learning curve in SignStudio, and a small third-party review count.

How do I get an exact price for my screens?

Use the public price calculator at galaxy.signage.me/signstudio/shopping-cart/price. It needs no login and no sales call, and it quotes the Plus+ and Enterprise rate for any screen count, reflecting the dynamic volume pricing. For an on-premise deployment, mediaSERVER is a published one-time $895 and its per-player licenses carry volume discounts, so call the toll-free line, +1-877-344-7446, for the license figure at your size. What does mediaSERVER cost?

mediaSERVER costs a one-time $895, plus per-player licenses with volume discounts. It is the on-premise edition of DigitalSignage.com: you install the server on your own hardware and run the same SignStudio editor and SignPlayer apps without a monthly per-screen subscription. It suits hospitals, government sites and companies whose content must stay inside their own network. You provide and run the server hardware yourself. Cloud vs on-premise

How much cloud storage comes with each DigitalSignage.com plan?

The free plan includes 1 GB of cloud storage, Plus+ includes 3 GB, and Enterprise includes 25 GB per account. Storage holds your uploaded images, videos and scene assets, while each player keeps its own local copy for playback. Video fills storage fastest, so export clips at the resolution of the screen rather than at camera resolution, and trim long clips before uploading. Images and text-based scenes use very little space.

What does dynamic volume pricing mean?

It means the per-screen rate is not one fixed number; it adjusts automatically as your total screen count changes. Plus+ starts at $3.00 per screen per month, and the public price calculator shows the exact monthly rate for your count without a login. For budgeting, DigitalSignage.com's own cost guides use $3 per paid screen with the first 3 screens free. Check the calculator for the rate at your size before you commit.

How much does it cost to add one more screen?

Once you are past the 3 free screens, one more screen is $3 a month at the Plus+ starting rate, or $36 a year. The rate is dynamic, so the public calculator shows the exact figure for your total count, and nothing is charged while you stay at 3 screens or fewer. The player hardware for the new screen is a separate one-time cost, from about $40 for a consumer Android stick.

What DigitalSignage.com costs by screen count

How much does DigitalSignage.com cost for 1 screen?

Nothing for the software. One screen fits inside the DigitalSignage.com free plan, which covers up to 3 screens forever with no credit card. Your only costs are the player device, from about $40 for a consumer Android stick, and the display if you do not already own one. A single screen on a TV you already have can therefore cost well under $100 in total, with no monthly bill.

How much does DigitalSignage.com cost for 5 screens?

About $6 a month, or $72 a year. The first 3 screens are free, so 2 screens are paid: 2 x $3 = $6 per month at the Plus+ starting rate, and 6 x 12 = $72 a year. Add a player for each screen, roughly $40 to $300 each, if the displays are TVs you already own. The public price calculator confirms the exact rate for your screen count.

How much does DigitalSignage.com cost for 10 screens?

About $21 a month, or $252 in the first year. The first 3 screens are free, so 7 are paid: 7 x $3 = $21 per month, and 21 x 12 = $252 a year. At their published entry rates the same 10 screens cost about $960 a year on Yodeck Basic and $2,400 on ScreenCloud Core. Players on reused TVs add $400 to $3,000 once. Digital signage cost 2026

How much does DigitalSignage.com cost for 50 screens?

About $141 a month, or $1,692 in the first year. The first 3 screens are free, so 47 are paid: 47 x $3 = $141 per month, and 141 x 12 = $1,692 a year. Players for 50 screens add $2,000 to $15,000 once if you reuse existing TVs. Because the rate is dynamic, check the public price calculator for the exact figure at 50 screens.

How much does DigitalSignage.com cost for 100 screens?

About $291 a month, or $3,492 in the first year. The first 3 screens are free, so 97 are paid: 97 x $3 = $291 per month, and 291 x 12 = $3,492 a year. At their published entry rates, 100 screens cost about $9,600 a year on Yodeck Basic and $24,000 on ScreenCloud Core. At this size the one-time $895 mediaSERVER is also worth pricing, including its per-player licenses.

Why do some pages show $360 a year for 10 screens?

Because those tables price every screen at the full $3 rate to compare vendors like for like: 10 x $3 x 12 months = $360 a year. The actual bill is lower because the first 3 screens stay free: 7 x $3 x 12 = $252. The DigitalSignage.com cost-per-screen guide uses the full-rate method and its total-cost guide uses the actual bill; both are correct for their purpose. Cost per screen guide

Hardware and total cost of digital signage

How much does digital signage cost in total?

A screen on a TV you already own costs $0 to $300 upfront for the player. A new indoor screen with display, player, mount and installation is $390 to $2,250, and an outdoor screen $8,000 to $25,000. Software runs $0 to $30 per screen per month, and electricity about $75 a year per screen. Only software and power repeat each year, so over 3 to 5 years the software rate matters most. Digital signage cost 2026

What does a 10-screen digital signage network cost in total?

On TVs you already own, players cost $400 to $3,000 once; buying new commercial panels adds $3,000 to $14,500. Each year you then pay software, from $252 on DigitalSignage.com (7 paid screens x $3 x 12 months) to $2,400 on ScreenCloud Core, plus about $750 of electricity for 10 screens running 12 hours a day. Installation adds roughly $50 to $500 per new screen depending on who mounts it.

How much does a Raspberry Pi signage player cost?

A complete Raspberry Pi signage build costs about $81 to $137, including the board, case, power supply, microSD card and HDMI cable. The Pi 5 board alone is $45 to $95 depending on memory, and board prices have moved since a memory-driven rise in December 2025. The software can be free: DigitalSignage.com runs on the Pi at no cost for the first 3 screens, and Anthias is free open-source Pi software. Raspberry Pi signage

How much does a 43-inch or 65-inch signage display cost?

At September 2026 US street prices, a 43-inch consumer 4K TV is $200 to $300 and a 43-inch commercial panel such as the Samsung QM43C is $627 to $780 (list $830). A 65-inch consumer TV is $480 to $650, and the commercial Samsung QM65C is about $1,450. Commercial panels cost roughly 1.5 to 3 times more but carry 16/7 or 24/7 duty ratings and 3-year warranties, which matter for screens that run long hours.

How much does it cost to install a digital signage screen?

About $50 to $200 per screen if you mount it yourself, and $200 to $500 with an installer when an outlet is nearby. Mounts cost $20 to $60 fixed, $40 to $120 tilting and $80 to $300 full-motion. If power and data cables must be run, low-voltage labor at $75 to $150 an hour puts a mount plus cabling at $200 to $800. Ceiling rigs, video walls and exterior work start around $1,000 to $1,500 per screen.

How much does digital signage cost over 3 years?

Over 3 years, software is usually the largest repeating cost. At 50 screens, software totals $5,076 on DigitalSignage.com ($1,692 a year) against $36,000 on ScreenCloud Core at $20 per screen per month. Hardware is mostly paid once: $2,000 to $15,000 for 50 players on existing TVs. Electricity adds about $75 per screen per year, or $11,250 for 50 screens over 3 years at 12 hours a day.

How much does a 55-inch digital signage display cost?

A 55-inch consumer 4K TV is $300 to $450, and a 55-inch commercial panel such as the Samsung QM55C is $995 to $1,450 (list $1,260), at September 2026 US street prices. Add a player at $40 to $300 and a mount at $20 to $300. One integrator quotes a complete 55-inch package, with display, mount, player, installation and first-year software, at $3,850.

How much does an outdoor digital signage screen cost?

About $8,000 to $25,000 per screen, all in. Outdoor screens need high-brightness panels, since direct sun calls for 5,000 nits or more against 350 to 500 nits indoors, plus weatherproof enclosures and cooling. A turnkey two-board drive-thru menu system runs $18,000 to $30,000. The software costs the same as for an indoor screen, so the hardware dominates the budget for outdoor signage.

Fees, contracts and running costs

Are there hidden fees with DigitalSignage.com?

No. DigitalSignage.com states no hidden fees: the free plan is $0 for up to 3 screens, paid screens follow the public calculator, and mediaSERVER is a one-time $895 plus per-player licenses. The costs to plan for sit outside the software: a player device for each screen, the display, mounting, electricity and the time to keep content current. No vendor hardware is required, so you decide how much to spend on players.

Do I have to sign a contract for digital signage software?

Not with DigitalSignage.com: its pricing page lists the Plus+ and Enterprise cloud plans as cancel at any time, and the free plan needs no payment details. Terms vary across the market: NoviSign publishes its rates billed annually, PosterBooking bills monthly, and PiSignage bills per player per year. Before signing with any vendor, check whether the quoted rate depends on annual prepayment and what happens to your screens if you stop paying.

What is the cheapest way to run digital signage on one TV?

Use the TV you already have, a $30 to $60 Android TV stick or a Raspberry Pi, and a free software plan. DigitalSignage.com covers up to 3 screens free with no watermark, so the whole setup costs only the player. If a computer sits next to the TV and stays on all day, SignPlayer can even run in its web browser for $0, though a dedicated player is more reliable for a permanent screen.

What are the ongoing costs of digital signage?

Three costs repeat: software, electricity and content time. Software is $0 to $30 per screen per month depending on the vendor, electricity about $75 per screen per year at 12 hours a day, and vendors estimate content work at 5 to 15 hours a month for a small deployment, or $200 to $600 a month to outsource. Hardware is a one-time cost, although consumer players and TVs may need replacing sooner than commercial ones.

Is it cheaper to buy signage software once or pay monthly?

It depends on screen count and how long you keep the system. A one-time license avoids the recurring bill but adds server hardware, maintenance and per-player licenses, while a subscription includes hosting and updates. DigitalSignage.com offers both: mediaSERVER at a one-time $895 plus per-player licenses, or cloud screens at $3 per screen per month after 3 free. Compare the total over 3 to 5 years, including staff time to run a server.

Market prices compared

What is the average price of digital signage software per screen?

The median published rate in September 2026 is $9 per screen per month across the 8 hosted platforms that charge per screen; the mean is $9.08. Rates run from $1.67 (PiSignage from year two, Raspberry Pi only) to $20 (ScreenCloud Core), a 12x spread. DigitalSignage.com's $3 is a third of that median. PosterBooking is left out because it sells a 10-screen bundle. Digital signage pricing index

How does DigitalSignage.com pricing compare with other platforms?

DigitalSignage.com charges $3 per screen per month after 3 free screens. Published 2026 entry rates elsewhere are ChannelOS $5 yearly or $6 monthly, Yodeck $8, OptiSigns $10, Rise Vision about $11, NoviSign $14 billed annually and ScreenCloud $20. Only PiSignage, on Raspberry Pi only, is lower from year two. Year one at 50 screens is $1,692 on DigitalSignage.com against $4,800 on Yodeck Basic and $12,000 on ScreenCloud Core.

How many digital signage platforms have a free plan?

Five of the 11 platforms tracked in the 2026 pricing dataset keep a permanent hosted free tier: DigitalSignage.com with 3 screens, OptiSigns with 3 screens showing its logo, PiSignage with 2 Raspberry Pi players, ChannelOS with 1 screen and a banner, and Yodeck with 1 screen while the account has exactly 1. Only DigitalSignage.com's has no branding and no conditions. Xibo and Anthias are free to self-host. Free plan changelog

What does 50 screens of signage software cost per year?

Using each vendor's published 2026 entry rate for the first year, 50 screens cost about $1,692 on DigitalSignage.com, $4,800 on Yodeck Basic, $6,000 on OptiSigns Standard, $6,600 on Rise Vision, $8,400 on NoviSign Business and $12,000 on ScreenCloud Core. Higher tiers with proof of play, SSO or advanced permissions cost more on every platform, so price the tier that has the features you actually need.

Is per-screen pricing better than a flat monthly price?

Per-screen pricing is usually cheaper for small networks, while a flat bundle can suit a network that fills it. PosterBooking, for example, charges $52 a month for 10 screens, about $5.20 per screen when all 10 are used but $17.33 per screen if you run only 3. Per-screen plans such as DigitalSignage.com at $3 or Yodeck at $8 grow in step with the network. Work out the cost at your real screen count, now and in two years.

How much does digital signage cost for a small business?

For 1 to 3 screens the software can cost nothing. On the DigitalSignage.com free plan a small business pays only for hardware: a $30 to $60 Android stick or an $81 to $137 Raspberry Pi build per screen if it reuses existing TVs, or $390 to $2,250 per new indoor screen with display, player, mount and installation. Electricity adds about $75 per screen per year. From the fourth screen, software is $3 per screen per month.

Does digital signage cost more across several locations?

Not on per-screen pricing: a screen costs the same whether it hangs in your main office or a branch across the country, because each player connects over the internet to the same cloud account. On DigitalSignage.com, 10 screens spread over 5 sites cost the same $21 a month as 10 screens in one building. What changes at scale is management, and Enterprise includes SignDashboard for running separate accounts per location or franchisee.
